Last weekend we had a quick two day visit to Tallinn (after 3 months) and man I really missed my hometown. We actually went there to attend to Estonian Business School 30th birthday gala with our student council from Helsinki campus and we also had time to chill a while. We visited the new T1 Mall Of Tallinn, which was opened about a month ago. Also, they recently opened T1 Taste Of Tallinn at the fourth floor in the mall, which includes a lot of different and awesome and very instagrammable (wink wink you instagrammers) restaurants. I got to eat at one of them and honestly the first restaurant we went to was so good that I already crave to go bak to Estonia just for the Pelm Restaurant. And I need to visit all the other restaurants as well.. they are still opening many new restaurants at the fourth floor . To be honest, in my opinion Finland (at least Helsinki) doesn’t have that good choices of restaurants. (Not that I have been to all of them, but to compare the one’s I’ve been to to restaurants in Tallinn) We went to a Russian restaurant with a large menu and since I don’t eat meat, from Susann’s recommendation I chose salmon filled dumplings, some grilled vegetables and giant shrimps with a super good sauce with them. And oh my yummmm how good it was, no joke. I might post a fun video to my instagram stories that Susann took of me while trying to handle the giant shrimps I ate, lol.
T1 Taste Of Tallinn is actually right now having a campaign where you can win 300€ gift card to the whole mall! To participate in the competition, visit one of the T1 Taste Of Tallinn restaurants, take a picture of your food, post it to instagram and tag #tasteoftallinn. That’s it! The winner is announced on 14.1.2019.

But anyways, T1 of Tallinn is a big recommendation to all of my Finnish and Estonian followers. And if someone from somewhere else in the world is reading this post, go and see the mall yourself and enjoy different tastes from different countries, all inside one mall. T1 also has different shops from design and clothing to books shops and even a butterfly museum and a giant 4 floor trampoline center that I need to take my little brothers to one day, it would be a dream for them. 😀
T1 Mall Of Tallinn locates near Tallinn airport. You can take a tram from the center of Tallinn and it takes you right in front of the mall. The mall is so big, you can’t miss seeing it from the window.
Bon appetit and happy shopping!
